I've read this guide in preparation for mentoring a group of home schooling teenagers through the documents and there are wonderful pages of diagrams that outline the branches, there are quotes from Federalist papers explaining concepts the way the Founders understood them, there's explanations in the text of amendments that changed the article and section you're studying. There's mention of court cases, effects of altering the meaning of the words of the Constitution, and explanations of the actions that judges had on our freedoms and interpretation of the Constitution. It's enjoyable because the quotes are chosen so well and explanations are clear. I'm going to have the students buy their own copy for class. It's not written so it feels like a teachers manual, it's written as a study guide and teenagers as well as adults will benefit from it.

I buy the pocket constitutions in bulk to distribute to our local Indivisible members and other community members interested in resisting the illegal actions of the current Federal regime. The Trump regime acts with total disregard to our constitution, and we need to call them on this.
