American Government & US Constitution (Part 2)

I'm actually taking the course for the second time with 2 different groups of patriots. But I wanted a copy of the DVDs for my "library" to share with others who can't join our groups due to location.

I find the book and course fascinating and every class we find things that our Founders tried to prevent from happening, but later Congresses or the president over-rode or ignored and passed laws to void the original intent, such as no income tax, and the 17th amendment weakening the power of the states. Very frustrating!

And every class we complain that this course and book should be required study in all schools in the nation. And for me, I say it should be required study every 2-3 years to inculcated minds of mush (as Rush Limbaugh used to say). There's so much info' that it can't be learned and understood in 1 go-round.
Like I said, I belong to 2 different groups studying the same material and I'm on my second go-round. But I've missed a lesson here and there and it's beneficial to review again, even if you have seen it before.

This book has a great deal of information and a much deeper dive into the making of the Constitution than many other books I have looked at before!

I had to type all the answers to all the questions in the teacher's manual and found quite a few grammatical, and spelling mistakes. With some of the questions the answers were not given. It was as if someone just stopped typing in the middle of a sentence. I had to look up the answers in the book. the curriculum is great as I have taken the course and that I plan to share it with others but the quality of the typed pages is not very good. Also, it is very confusing that the answers to the quizzes do not follow numerically the quizzes themselves. All the quizzes start with number one, number two, and so on. But the answers to the quizzes range from one and go in consecutive order into the 100's. That makes it very hard to determine were the answers to one quiz starts and ends. It helps to know that each answer sheet for the quizzes match the disc number. Enough said. The curriculum is great, very informative, and the book is a wonderful reference. The things that I have learned has shown me how much trouble this country is in and I plan, with the help of your curriculum to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. Keep up the good work. It is indispensable.
